• Feature book: The reasons you’re alive By Matthew Quick
  • Feature book: Children of Blood and Bone By Tomi Adeyami

  • #Antman kinda got me obsessed with Magic :p
I think that was the only thing I took away from the film ;) Thank you @panmacmillanindia for sending me this beauty!
P.S. thank god for such a good weather, scared things are going to get messy and sweaty soon. 😱
  • #2 of all the books that I bought for no good reason. I somehow am very drawn towards @leilasalesbooks writing and hence this was no brainer. #thissongwillsaveyourlife
What is this book about?
Making friends has never been Elise Dembowski’s strong suit. All throughout her life, she’s been the butt of every joke and the outsider in every conversation. When a final attempt at popularity fails, Elise nearly gives up. Then she stumbles upon a warehouse party where she meets Vicky, a girl in a band who accepts her; Char, a cute, yet mysterious disc jockey; Pippa, a carefree spirit from England; and most importantly, a love for DJing.

Told in a refreshingly genuine and laugh-out-loud funny voice, This Song Will Save Your Life is an exuberant novel about identity, friendship, and the power of music to bring people together.
  • I was in one of those phases where nothing else matters so you just buy whatever is on your wishlist. Like the first of whatever. So naturally I have lot of new books, that too big ones. I am soon going to be throwing out of my own house because well, all you can see around are books. Just books. This one here: #TheNix by #NathanHill. .

You can read what is it about down below. Also: When you Bunge buy books is there a pattern or do you just pick them randomly. I know, I randomly just buy them off my wishlist. . . .

What is The Nix about?
It’s 2011, and Samuel Andresen-Anderson hasn’t seen his mother, Faye, in decades—not since she abandoned the family when he was a boy. Now she’s reappeared, having committed an absurd crime that electrifies the nightly news and inflames a politically divided country. The media paints Faye as a radical hippie with a sordid past, but as far as Samuel knows, his mother was an ordinary girl who married her high-school sweetheart. Which version of his mother is true? Two facts are certain: she’s facing some serious charges, and she needs Samuel’s help.

To save her, Samuel will have to embark on his own journey, uncovering long-buried secrets about the woman he thought he knew, secrets that stretch across generations and have their origin all the way back in Norway, home of the mysterious Nix. As he does so, Samuel will confront not only Faye’s losses but also his own lost love, and will relearn everything he thought he knew about his mother, and himself.
  • It definitely did.
  • Because a lot of things are well connected with you, every action, every decision effects everyone around you.
  • That one line that got you hooked?

For me this one did. 'When they see me, do they see a liar?' #mistbornseries #Mistborn #thefinalempire
  • Question: Which fictional character would be the most boring to meet in real life?
  • "Don’t worry that you aren’t giving people what they want. Give them who you are, and let that be enough"
